How do I renew my membership with my existing club or get reinstated into that same club?

For clubs that participate in the SCGA’s online membership payment commerce portal, reacting to the club-specific email notifications from SCGA is the easiest way, as clicking on the link provided pre-populates the player and the club in which the player is associated. 

As an alternative, for clubs that participate in the SCGA online membership payment commerce portal,  one can go to scga.org/renew and search the name of the club. If that clubs offers online registration/payment for membership, you’ll find a “RENEW NOW” link below the search result. Have your Handicap ID (GHIN number) handy. 

NOTE:  If a member attempts to renew more than 60 days prior to the current membership expiration date, the system will reject the payment indicating the member is not eligible to renew at that time (protection from paying multiple times for the same membership). 

For clubs that do not offer the SCGA online membership payment commerce portal, the renewal messaging will identify a club official to contact. A member who wants to manually pay the club is welcome to do so by interacting with a club official. The club official has to take an action on the club's SCGA roster and if they do not, the renewal messaging from SCGA will continue.
