GOLFER DELETE SCORE
This feature gives GHIN users the ability to delete scores in the mobile app or GHIN.com to prevent posting incorrect or duplicate scores. Only scores posted by the golfer can be deleted.
Access Round Summary
- Users will now see Delete Round when they post a score and see their Round Summary
- Users will now be able to click on Recent and Revision Scores to access their Round Summary
Delete Round
- New option gives users ability to delete round
- Only scores listed as “Recent Scores” (physically posted the same day) will have the option to be deleted (until Midnight)
Confirmation Notification
- Deleting a score should occur for scoring mistakes only
- Notification explains that stats will be lost if deleting a hole-by-hole with stats score
Delete Confirmation
- Deleted scores will be indicated in Recent Scores, until revision is run
- Deleted scores will not appear after revision
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Only golfers on GHIN, including Trial golfers, can delete scores
- If a user needs to correct a scoring mistake, they need to delete the score and repost the correct one
- Stats tracked in deleted rounds will be lost.
- Scores deleted by golfers on GHIN will be noted in Admin Portal Audit Log.
- Maximum number of scores that can be deleted in a day match the maximum number of scores that can be posted (6 18-hole, 6 10-17 hole, or 12 9-hole scores).
- Deleting scores does not change the maximum number of scores that can be posted in a day (i.e. if user posts 6 18-hole scores in a day and deletes 1, they still cannot post any more scores).
